I’m a full-stack software engineer with 20 years of experience building web applications, APIs for mobile apps, and third-party integrations. I focus on building scalable backends and simple user experiences that solve real-world problems.

Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, I've been working remotely for the past 15 years. I normally align my work day to the US East Coast time zone.

I'm a strong believer in Open Source Software. Here are some of my projects:

• Granola — A set of helpers for generating JSON in HTTP APIs.
• DTB — Easily build dynamic Data Tables with filters in Rails apps.
• Integrity — The easy, fun, Continuous Integration server.
• Undress — Convert HTML back to Textile, Markdown, or other markup formats.
